This is a one-day conference providing expert specialist clinical training and essential information on Gastrointestinal Health chaired by Professor Roger Jones.

Delegates will be provided with up-to-date information about important developments in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, including the role of the microbiome, advances in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, the role and potential complications of bariatric surgery, and in the timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment of coeliac disease.

Workshops will explore, using case-based discussions, best practice in the management of functional gastrointestinal disorders and in the early diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancers. The conference will also cover the interpretation of liver function tests and offer a practical guide to distinguishing between allergies and intolerance in a range of disease processes.
