Highly successful Annual Scientific Meeting
The voice of Primary Care Gastro mic’d up for another highly successful Annual Scientific Meeting on November 3rd. Held at the Royal College of General Practitioners, this year’s ASM featured twelve high profile talks from the front-line of gastroenterology. The speakers covered a variety of topics, ranging from Dr Patricia Macnair’s discerning analysis of guidelines for the management of microscopic colitis to Dr Charlie Andrews’ insightful views on being on the other side of the fence as a sufferer of ulcerative colitis. Other stand-out highlights included Dr Fiona Walter’s take on issues within cancer diagnosis and Aileen Fraser’s examination of how the symptoms of IDA effect patients with IBD. The talks were as well received as they were attended, and our thanks must go out to all of our speakers for making the event the success that it was.
